I frankly find it hard to believe these are working at all and no machine build up is a lie. Well, maybe it's not considered build up if the majority of the laundry sheet is just left on the side of the washing machine? Here's the side of my washing machine after using them— new sheet next to one of the residue pieces for comparison. Guess I get to go scrub it off my washing machine now.
I’m sorry this happened, and thank you for the photos! The residue is an undissolved detergent sheet that rode up the drum during the low-water balance phase. It’s water-soluble and will not stain; it wipes away with a wet cloth, clears with a short warm rinse, or can be washed off with your next large load or two of towels or blankets.
To make certain this doesn’t happen again try placing the sheet flat in the drum and slightly tucked among the garments to prevent it from flying off onto the drum early in the cycle; on short or cold cycles, tearing into 2–3 pieces can help, and try to avoid overloading. In most cases these steps aren’t necessary, but every washing machine is just a little bit different.
Regarding machine build up, our product is concentrated and does prevent excess detergent from getting on your washer seals and gaskets, which is a common cause of mildew in washing machines. Fortunately a sheet getting stuck on the side won’t cause any long term machine build up.
We’ve sent you an email to hopefully find a resolution that works for you!
I’ve really enjoyed using the laundry sheets. Feel like they clean better than my previous liquid detergent and without the mess of pouring from a jug and the plastic. The scent is really pleasant. Would be interested in a matching scent option for dryer sheets or balls if they were made available.
Cute packaging, the fragrance is nice but not overpowering, and the detergent cleans clothing well. Im happy with this purchase.
