If you notice any residue, ensure your washing machine isn’t overloaded. Follow these tips to improve sheet performance:
Check Capacity: Avoid overfilling your machine. If you can’t easily fit your hand in the top of the drum, it’s too full. Overloading restricts the sheet’s movement and prevents proper dissolving.
Water Temperature: Our sheets dissolve at all temperatures, but colder water may require extra time. If using cold water, consider a longer wash cycle to help the sheet dissolve fully.
Proper Placement: Place the sheet away from the edges of the drum, especially in machines with load sensors, as they may spin and stick the sheet to the drum wall. For best results, place the sheet in the center or bottom of the drum before adding clothes.
Machine Type:
For top-loading machines, start the water, then add the sheet followed by the laundry. For front-loading and high-efficiency (HE) machines, place the sheet in the drum first, then add clothes. In HE machines, if needed, use the detergent dispenser.
Pre-Dissolve Option: If problems persist, pre-dissolve the sheet in a cup of water before adding it to your laundry. This is helpful for machines with quick cycles or minimal water usage.
