High Lady replaces bulky liquid detergent with lightweight sheets and refill boxes that are easier to store, ship, and display.
I first opened the box and got a big smell, I was so excited. A couple of days later I did a load of wash. I used 2 full sheets because I wanted a strong scent left behind. I checked the washer half way, no suds and no smell. I added a 3rd sheet. When it finished and went to put my clothes in the dryer, they had no sent and smelled like… dirty water. I ended up using my regular Persil detergent and rewashed everything. Waste of money for the box and refill.
Opening the box is like smelling heaven!!! I was totally obsessed!!! Sadly, even using a full sheet, the scent didnt last through the washer and dryer. Theres no scent left of the clothes that I can smell. Ive tried multiple size loads and water temps and just cant make the scent stick.. 😢
These laundry sheets are as comforting and reliable as a favorite book that's been read over and over. Lightly scented "pages" keep the spell from wearing off or becoming old and in need of a change, though I am excited for any news of the next edition to reach the shelves! Truthfully, the lilac brings me back to my childhood home in a town called Paradise, where my family's driveway was lined with lilac bushes. It's a comfort to remember that space for a moment while performing the tedious quest of laundry. Now, if only you had dryer ball oils or sheets to add to the dryer to keep the story going!... ;)
I rarely have trouble with the sheets dissolving properly, but have found that if they are added after the laundry, and placed on the sides by the bottom, rather than flat on the drum, I see less dissolving issues. My machine does not have a central agitator, and I think that if the sheets are not pressed on the bottom with the weight of the laundry, it keeps the sheets from gumming up, and allows them to dissolve more freely as the drum fills and swishes.
These laundry sheets are AMAZING! First of all these sheets are very high quality and the perforated lines are very distinctive to make sure they separate and not tear into the other side. The packaging is high quality, but the Hardcover Book to keep your laundry sheets is above and beyond! Great magnetic closer to seal in the scent and user directions on the inside cover. The color of High Lady is a deep indigo purple, which is definitely royalty, but has a darker, deeper feel to it. The silver foiling of the tiara and lettering jump out from the background, not loudly, but in a steady comanding way. The scent is incredible! Feminine, soft, otherworldly, and fresh. I will only wash my bedding and towels in this, because at the end of your day and and into your dreams you can become your own High Lady. 💜
