If you notice residue after a wash, your machine may be overloaded or the sheet may not have had enough water movement to dissolve properly.
Check your load size: Avoid overfilling your machine. If you can’t easily fit your hand into the top of the drum, the load is likely too full. Overloading can restrict movement and prevent the sheet from dissolving completely.
Adjust for water temperature: Our sheets are designed to dissolve in both hot and cold water, but colder cycles may need a little more time. If you wash in cold water, try using a longer cycle.
Place the sheet properly: Place the sheet near the center or bottom of the drum before adding clothes. Avoid placing it along the edges, especially in machines with load sensors, where it may stick to the drum wall.
Use the right method for your machine: For top-loading machines, start the water first, then add the sheet and laundry. For front-loading and high-efficiency machines, place the sheet directly in the drum before adding clothes. If needed, you can also use the detergent dispenser.
Pre-dissolve if needed: For quick cycles, low-water machines, or persistent dissolving issues, pre-dissolve the sheet in a cup of water before adding it to your laundry.
