Overview

Welcome to First Editions Co.! The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to First Editions Co. (“First Editions,” “we,” or “us”), operating this store and website—powered by Shopify—to provide you with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use our Services.

1. Access & Account

  • You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and that you consent to minors using the Services on devices you own or manage.

  • Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason. Your order is not accepted until we send you a confirmation email.
  • We must process payment before acceptance. If we cancel or modify your order, we’ll attempt to notify you via the contact details you provided.
  • All purchases are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
  • You warrant your purchases are for personal or household use, not for commercial resale or export.

4. Prices & Billing

  • Prices, discounts, and promotions may change without notice. The price charged is the price in effect when the order is placed and confirmed.
  • Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling, customs, or import duties.
  • You agree to provide and promptly update accurate payment information. You warrant you are authorized to use the chosen payment method and will pay all charges incurred at posted prices.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • All delivery times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control.
  • Title and risk of loss pass to you upon transfer of goods to the carrier.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Services—trademarks, text, images, graphics, videos, audio, design, selection, and arrangement—is owned by First Editions or its licensors and protected by U.S. and foreign IP laws.
  • You may use our content only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

  • We may provide access to third-party tools “as is” and “as available.” We have no control over—and bear no liability for—them. Use at your own risk and under their separate terms.

9. Relationship with Shopify

  • First Editions Co. is powered by Shopify but sells products directly to you. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your transactions with us. You release Shopify from any claims arising from your purchases.

10. Privacy Policy

  • All personal data we collect is governed by our Privacy Policy. Because Shopify hosts our Services, Shopify’s Privacy Policy also applies.

11. Feedback

  • If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback (“Feedback”), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and modify it for any purpose.
  • You warrant your Feedback is your own, compliant with these Terms, and does not infringe any third-party rights.

12. Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions

  • We may correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and change or update information without notice (even after you submit an order). We bear no obligation to update materials except as required by law.

13. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or infringe third-party rights.
  • Transmit harmful code (viruses, malware).
  • Spam, phish, scrape, or harvest data.
  • Interfere with or circumvent security features.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, U.S., without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You and First Editions consent to venue and personal jurisdiction in Chelan County, WA.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version here. Material changes will be notified as required by law. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
