Nothing. Every order to a U.S. address ships free, with no minimum. Orders usually leave us within 1–2 business days, and most arrive 3–7 business days after they ship. See our Shipping Policy for details.

Yes. They dissolve in hot or cold water and work in standard and HE machines, top- or front-loading. You can use them for hand-washing in a sink, too.

Every box has 40 sheets: 40 regular loads at one sheet each, or up to 80 small loads at half a sheet.

Put the sheet in the empty drum first, then add your clothes, and leave them room to move. On short or very cold cycles, tear the sheet in half along its perforation and drop both halves in. Still seeing residue? Email hello@firsteditionsco.com with your machine and wash settings, and we’ll help.

Check the care label first. For most delicates, use a gentle cycle in cold water with half a sheet, and put small pieces in a mesh bag. Our sheets contain an enzyme (protease) that lifts protein stains, so skip them for wool and silk and use a wool-safe detergent instead.

No. The hardcover is an optional add-on ($12, one time) that ships with a refill order. Keep it on your shelf and slip each new refill inside. Shadow Daddy’s preorder includes its matching hardcover.

Every ingredient is listed on our Ingredients page, with its CAS number and what it does. High Lady and Shadow Daddy use the same sheet formula; only the fragrance differs. Shadow Daddy’s fragrance details are coming soon.
